Unable to Add IP – “IP already linked to another account” (Static Home IP)

openalgo
I’m facing an issue while trying to whitelist my IP address on Kite Connect.

Error message:

“The IP address(es) you are trying to add are already linked to another account. Each IP address can only be linked to one account.”

Details:

This is my home static IP provided by ACT Broadband (Bangalore).
I am the only user of this connection.
I have connected only one Zerodha account.
To my knowledge, this IP is not linked to any other Kite Connect app or account.

Because of this, I’m unable to proceed with API access.

Request:
Could you please:

Check if this IP is already mapped to any account in your system, and
Help unlink/reset it, or advise on how I can resolve this issue?

This is time-sensitive as it’s blocking my API usage.

Registered Email ID: [email protected]

Please let me know if you need any additional details (IP address, client ID, etc.).

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,
Rajandran

To whitelist your static IP shared as per SEBI guidelines, you can set it up on the Kite Connect developer console by following these steps:

Log in to your Kite Connect Developer Account.
    Click on Profile.
Under the IP Whitelist section, enter up to 2 IP addresses (one per line).
Scroll down and click on Update.
After the update, we recommend logging back in to your developer account to verify that the IP addresses have been added successfully.

If the issue persists, we request you to kindly raise a ticket through the support portal so that we can assist you more effectively.
